The Human Vacuum

So Katie is now mobile, must to my dismay.

There is something to be said for putting your kid on the floor and knowing that when you come back they will still be right where you left them.

Now, my problem is keeping track of the human vacuum we like to call Katie.

She is also now pulling herself up on stuff and climbing in things.

Oh the joy.

No really, it IS fun to see her growing and passing new milestones, but it is a heck of lot harder to child proof when you have five other people in the house without the sense to pick up after themselves!

I've babysat some younger children lately and I'd forgotten how diligent you have to be with them...especially with all of the older kids leaving things around.

Little Katie is such a cute little one!

She's so cute on the lower ledge of that table!

Isn't that the truth! And don't you mean 6 other people!:) Hi Troy!

Wow! Look at her go. To bad we don't live closer together (for many reasons). Katie could give Michael some pointers.

Amen! This stage is always hard for me with lots of bumps and bruises.

I feel for you - luckily for us, Mathison has finally decided to give up being our vacuum!

I'm glad to hear that my kids aren't the only ones that don't know how to pick up after themselves.
I love, love the rolls surrounding Katie's knees. ADORABLE!!!
