I thought the same thing. Rachel NEVER touched her hair and I was so happy and so good about making sure the scissors were kept up. But then it had to happen to us too. Mayah comes up the stairs with one side of her curls gone. AND to know that Rachel was the one who did it. GEEZ.
My daughter and her friend decided to cut their hair at the friend's house when they were three. Her mom called me to say, "I think your daughter may have had a hair cut, because we have light brown hair in the playroom." Their entire family has jet black hair. Luckily, the haircut wasn't too noticeable....
Oh, that is not even bad. We have had much worse! And still it happens, the other day my 4 year old said to the 2 year old, "I am going to cut your hair." Two year old said, "Okay." I was five feet away, and I said, "No way!" Hello, what are they thinking?
Well, at least you can transform it into cute pixie bangs. Bronson once cut off an EYEBROW in elementary school; we had a very hard time trying to fix that one!

This is a first in your family? I am shocked. You got this far and BAM!

I, too, am totally shocked it's taken this long. Each one of my girls did it once between the ages of 4-6.
Oops, that last comment was really from me. My sister just had me editing one of her posts and I forgot to log out first.
