As we brace for what could prove to be the worst storm of the year...the schools are already closed, people have raided the grocery stores, there isn't a sled or snow shovel available for sale within a 100 miles o here...I have to wonder...why is my husband so out of sync with the rest of the world?
As I drove Troy to the train today to catch the last one into the city, there were just a handful of cars in what is normally a packed parking lot.
I swear...it could be our last day on earth and that man would insist on going to work.

I know. Don is at work too. I am sure he is probably the only one. But he did get up at 1:30 so he could be out the door by 2 a.m. and home early enough before it gets too bad. So hoping he gets home before it gets too bad.
I hope our ONE shovel is going to get the job done around here. YIKES. Atleast we have food right? LOL
If he can't take the VRE train back, he can always hop the metro to our house. And then if you can't make it out here to get him, no worries. With Jeff out of town, I'll need someone to shovel the snow off the roof anyway!
I just found out that Fairfax County is having a makeup day on President's Day and instead of being the usual half day it will be a full - SWEET!
Parker too! So annoying! Hope you guys can make it over for games tonight! =)
There's super important lawyer-ing that needs to be done.
silly.
I hope Troy will be able to return home safely later today!! Good luck weathering this storm. I guess it will be a weekend at home for all of you...
Austin went to his internship too! This is a sign of the things to come for me...
Despite my best begging, Glen insisted on going too. I was so sure he'd get stuck downtown and I'd be trapped with the kids all weekend by myself, but he just barely made it home. I hope Troy is back home safely now too. Enjoy the snow!
I had VERY IMPORTANT lawyer-ing to do.
