I know you thought I had given up blogging...but I have been trying to get my life together enough to actually blog again.
And I was feeling so dang sentimental tonight...I just had to post.
Joe and Emma graduated from elementary school today. I am so proud of all they have accomplished. They are wonderful students, but more importantly, they are wonderful people.
They both were chosen to speak at graduation (just a sentence each - but we'll take it) and both received a presidential academic award as well.
I feel so blessed that they are my children and I know that they will continue to have success in all that they do.
I guess my only wish is that they would do it all a little slower -- because it just seems like yesterday they were starting school and now they are off to middle school.
Congratulations Joe and Emma on a job well done.

Those kids are pretty dang cute!! And is Emma wearing heels? What a lucky lady!
I didn't realize our kids share a grade. I'm the mom who cried that day. :'( I have worked in Angeline's classroom so have become close with her whole class. It's sad to see them grow up and move on, and yet, it is what we really want. Thanks for posting.
Congrats to Emma and Joe! They do indeed look very grown-up in this photo.
Have a wonderful time in Rome, Denise, hope it's not too hot to enjoy!
Way to go, Emma and Joe!
WHAT?
WHEN DID THAT HAPPEN?
WHO ALLOWED IT?
They look adorable! Joe and Emma look like you and Troy would have looked like if... you would have know each other during middle school.
I need to get back to blogging too.
Wow, they are both so grown up and gorgeous! Congratulations to you and both of them!
