You are so brave! Maseys birthday was yesterday too! She turned 11. She had a Pirate sleepover with 8 girls. I am so tired. They were up until 3 am and Masey and 2 friends were up until 5:30! Hannahs party is next friday!! Love your blog. I cant believe how big your kids are. New baby is very cute!
What were you thinking? Wow, I can't believe you pulled this one off!!! You are amazing, that's all I have to say. I would rather fold socks(which is one of those monotonous chores that I hate doing), then host 14 screaming 9 yr olds.
I guess when you're going to do something- you do it big! That's great. I have to ask though... why so many girls? I know some moms do parties on certain birthdays so when they have them- they go big.... is this why? Or was it one of those mom times where you just couldn't say "no?" I'm not judging- just asking how it evolved.... you know, curious.... cuz 14 kids? Wow!
Oh my, I hope they both had a wonderful birthday...it looks like they did! You are "SUPER MOM", they both will always remember their wonderful birthdays...you are awesome:)!
I was justing wondering why. And when I said "one of those mom times when you can't say no." I didn't mean you personally... I meant all of us- a collective "you". I appreciate our discussions on family guidelines and rules. For example, we have differing rules on sleepovers. I appreciate that we can speak openly and candidly about those topics. I don't judge or think my way is better - I feel that you and Troy seek inspiration and make the right choices for your family and where you live. I respect that. When I visited, I learned so much about how you "ran" your home and I, as you know, incorporated some of those ideas as soon as I got off the plane! So it was just something I was wondering as I was reading your post- I probably could have asked it better... But you know how I compare myself to everyone- I was thinking that I had to know thy why to determine if I should do something better when it comes to my birthday party policy.
Which we just adapted a new one and that is they can have a party every other year. This is the off year- thank heavens!
